Fortnite is one of the most successful games of all time, due in part to being available on a slew of platforms. It has a massive audience across PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and even Nintendo Switch. Recently, the game became available on mobile devices via Xbox Cloud Gaming, allowing players to stream Fortnite for free via a browser in many regions. This essentially gives players access to the full version of Fortnite without having to download or install anything onto a device. It’s a quick and easy process that works a lot better than you might expect, as long as your internet connection supports it.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to play Fortnite on your mobile devices via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

The beauty of Fortnite on Xbox Cloud Gaming is that you don’t need a powerful device to run it. Smartphones as old as the iPhone XR (which launched in 2018) are verified to run Fortnite, though, as Epic Games explains, the game may work on older devices as well. Keep in mind, you can also use Xbox Cloud Gaming to run Fortnite on PCs.

First, you need a Microsoft account. After you’ve created one and verified it, visit the Xbox Cloud Gaming site on your mobile device.
From here, tap on Fortnite, which should be at the top of the screen. It’s typically showcased front and center.
After you select Fortnite, it’ll ask you to sign in to your Microsoft account, and once you do, you’ll have the option to Play.
A short loading screen will appear, and then you’ll be given the option to link your Fortnite account. From here, you can either create an account or sign in with an existing one. Signing in with an existing account will carry over all of your skins and progress.
Once you’re signed in, you can launch into a match, and it works exactly how it does on other platforms. Assuming you have a high-speed internet connection, it should feel just like it does on console or PC.
To get a more authentic experience, we recommend playing with a supported controller. This allows you to connect various gamepads to your device via Bluetooth (or with a wired connection). You can also utilize a mobile controller device such as the Backbone for maximum comfort.
For a full list of details, you can visit the Xbox controller support page.

3 new Xbox Game Pass games to play this weekend (January 10 to 12)
Now that 2025 has begun, new games are slowly trickling onto Xbox Game Pass. While heavy hitters like Avowed and South of Midnightaren't here just yet, Microsoft is kicking off the new year by bringing back two amazing indie titles to its gaming subscription service and bringing some entertaining survival games down to the Game Pass Standard tier on console. If you're looking for something to play this weekend, these are the games that I'd recommend.
Road 96
Road 96 - Launch Trailer
Road 96 is a narrative adventure game about teenagers attempting to escape a fictional country called Petria, which is run by an authoritarian machine. It couples the choice-driven structure of Telltale adventure games with a roguelike structure, as each run technically follows a different teenager trying to get to the border. Some are more successful than others, and players can even die if they make the wrong decisions. It makes your individual experience as a player feel more special compared to other choice-based games. As Road 96's themes will only continue to become more relevant this year, it's perfect to kick off 2025 by playing Road 96 on Xbox Game Pass.

How to get Nautilus Shells in Stardew Valley
It won't take you many seasons to learn most of Stardew Valley'stips and tricks and become familiar with how to get the more common materials you need. On the other hand, there are somemore mysterious items that you will need from time to time but have no idea where to find. The Nautilus Shell isn't that great of a gift, but it is required for a few specific quests and for dyeing. If you've been searching the beach all summer long but haven't found one, you're close but not quite there yet. Here's how to get Nautilus Shells.
How to get Nautilus Shells
Nautilus Shells are most easily found on the beach by foraging through the sand, which is probably where most people would think to look for them. However, if you look during the summer, when you would most likely be at the beach, you won't find any. That's because the only time you can forage a Nautilus Shell from the beach is when it is winter.
Besides foraging in the cold sand, there are a few other ways you can get Nautilus Shells, but they are all up to chance. They can be received as a gift from Demetrius at any time or from any villager during the Feast of the Winter Star. If you have either the Shrine of Challenge or Danger In The Deep quest enabled, they can spawn within the first 29 levels of the Mines.
